Stafford County Sheriff's deputies were called to Southern View Drive for reports of a man chasing another person around 11:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, Sheriff David Decatur said.

Both were detained and searched. Both were found with blue pills, commonly containing fentanyl, Decatur said.

Both were taken to Rappahannock Regional Jail. While there, jail staff discovered Barbour had additional drugs within her. They were removed, and additional charges were added.

Mason was charged with second offense possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, and possession of controlled substances. He was also served on his outstanding warrant.

Barbour was charged with two counts of possession of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, felony by prisoner, and obstruction of justice. Both were held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
